Front of House Team Member – The Yard Gym

Overview
The Yard Gym is looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, and high-energy Front of House Team Members to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our community, you’ll be essential in delivering an outstanding member experience—on the floor, over the phone, and online. This is more than a desk job—we’re looking for people who thrive in a dynamic, fitness-forward environment and are eager to grow alongside us.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist gym members, guests, and prospective clients with a welcoming and knowledgeable presence.
Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism—answering inquiries, booking tours, and following up on leads.
Utilize sales skills to promote memberships, merchandise, and services—training provided.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and member check-in area.
Support marketing initiatives, help with in-house events, and engage with members through social media channels.
Work closely with leadership and the training team to drive revenue and meet/exceed monthly performance goals.
Use internal systems (training provided) to manage client accounts, process payments, and schedule appointments.
Collaborate with the team to provide a seamless experience from first contact to continued membership.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in sales, customer service, or front desk/reception—fitness or gym experience preferred.
Comfortable talking on the phone, following up with leads, and handling inquiries with urgency and care.
Management experience or leadership potential is a major plus—we're always scouting for future leads and managers.
A marketing mindset—if you’ve ever managed a social media account or helped promote a brand, that’s gold.
Highly organized, great communicator, and driven to hit goals and stretch past them.
Strong team player, willing to jump in and help wherever needed in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with fitness culture, and passion for helping others meet their goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
